Built for how people search in Dublin

Dublin has more businesses competing for the same searches than anywhere else in Ireland. Somebody with a burst pipe in Lucan types "plumber Lucan" into their phone, and dozens of plumbers could answer. Google sends that search to the page that matches it best, and a homepage that says "we cover all of Dublin" matches nothing in particular.

People here also search by district as well as by name. "Electrician Dublin 15" and "electrician Blanchardstown" are two searches for the same streets, and one page about the area can answer both.

A page for every area you cover

A Dublin site built to be found has a page for each service and a page for each area the business works in, written in plain sentences about the jobs done there. A painter in Swords who also works in Malahide and Balbriggan gets a page for each, and each page names the district, the places in it and the work.

We have built this pattern before. McCrohan Satellite Systems covers a whole county with eleven town pages, and Scott Long Painting & Decorating has thirteen for the Cork suburbs and towns he drives to. Area pages are part of the €500 build, and new ones are part of the yearly fee after that.

The map results

Google names three things behind its map results: relevance, distance and prominence. Distance you cannot change. Relevance comes from your Google Business Profile and your website describing the work in the same words. Prominence comes from reviews, and from other sites mentioning the business.

The sites we have built so far are in Kerry, Cork and the UK, and none of them needed a site visit. We work over the phone, by email and with a preview link you open on your own phone, and we change it until it is right. Every one of them is live and linked from our work.

Are you based in Dublin? No, we are based in Tralee, County Kerry. Every site we have built was done over the phone, by email and with a preview link, so where we sit has never held a build up.

Can a page cover a Dublin postcode? Yes. An area page can name the district and the places in it, so a search for "Dublin 15" and a search for "Blanchardstown" land on the same page.

How long does it take? One to two weeks for most builds. The words are what usually hold it up, and we can write them for you.
