Web design in Ireland
We build websites for trades and small businesses across Ireland from Tralee in County Kerry. One fixed price of €500 with everything included, no VAT on top, and most sites are live within one to two weeks.
What an Irish small business needs from a website
The businesses we build for are painters, installers, trainers and the like. Their customers find them in two ways: a recommendation that ends at a search box, or a search for the trade and the town on a phone. A website has to catch both, and it has to load in about a second on mobile data, because that is where the search happens.
It also has to be set up properly for Ireland. A .ie domain, registered in your own name, with the registrant validated so it works. A privacy policy and cookie consent that do what the law here asks. A Google Business Profile set up and optimised with our guidance, because the map result is often the first thing an Irish customer sees.
The .ie domain, and why it is worth the extra day
A .ie address tells a customer the business is here before they have read a word, and the registry checks that it is true. It asks for proof of a connection to Ireland before it activates the name, which is a day or two of paperwork we handle on your behalf, and it means a .ie is far harder to squat from abroad than a .com. We register it in your name, not ours, so it is yours whatever happens to us.
Cookies, consent and the Data Protection Commission
Every Irish website that uses analytics or advertising cookies needs consent before those cookies load, and a privacy policy that says what is collected, why, for how long, and who it is shared with. Ours name every processor and the Data Protection Commission, because that is what the law asks for and it is what a careful customer looks for. It ships on every site, checked before handover.
The sites we have built
Five so far, an installer in Kerry and four businesses in Cork, every one live and linked from our work. The Kerry and Cork pages say more about each: Kerry and Cork.
Where we work
Anywhere in Ireland, and every site so far was built over the phone, by email and with a preview link the client opened on their own phone. Businesses in the UK, the United States and Canada are welcome too, and pricing works the same way.
What it costs
A website is €500, everything included, up to thirty pages, with €300 a year after the first year for hosting, security, backups and changes. We are not VAT registered at the moment, so the price you see is the price you pay, where most quotes in Ireland are before 23% is added. The full breakdown, and everything that ships with a site, is on the pricing page.
